1.    Opening / Start-up Procedures

You will independently implement opening/start up procedures including but not limited to:

  • Facility - outside perimeter safety check (drive)
  • Alarm deactivation procedures
  • Facility - inside perimeter safety check and simultaneously unlock/open doors where applicable
  • Direct inbound/waiting trucks/deliveries
  • Verify the status of all Parksite (and temp) outbound drivers and trucks

 

2.    Review and e-Learn

a)      As practical you will review with your direct supervisor the previous sections

b)     You will complete the e-Quiz, IL01 – Introduction to WMS & CSD

 

3.    Communication Basics – Writing Skills

You will complete e-Lesson Communication Basics 11.1 – Writing Skills & Email Etiquette

 

4.    Product Knowledge – Mixed Branch

Select and study two brands/products assigned to your branch location

a)      To access the product knowledge mix assigned to your branch location, click here.

b)     Use the pulldown and select your assigned company

c)      Click on the map pin associated to your branch location (enlarge the map if necessary)

d)     Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the brand you wish to study

e)     Master all knowledge as it relates to the brand/company description, products, features, and resources  

f)       You will locate/inspect the above-mentioned product(s) in one of our warehouses

g)      Your direct supervisor will schedule a ride-along with a contemporary or defined expert who will:

  • Provide you with an overview of the product(s)
  • Explain how the product(s) fits into your market segment and accounts
  • Explain how to establish creditability for the product(s)

h)     In section 9, you will take the assigned branch specific product knowledge course e-Quiz

 

5.    Infor Lesson: Picking

a)      Your SME will provide you with an overview and demonstrate how to perform the following picking processes including:

b)     You will simultaneously refer to the above-mentioned SOP’s

c)      Under the direct supervision of the SME, you will perform each of the above-mentioned applications twice

 

6.    Infor Lesson: Loading

a)      Your SME will provide you with an overview and demonstrate how to perform the following picking processes including, SOP IL XX.1 – LOADING

b)     You will simultaneously refer to the above-mentioned SOP’s

c)      Under the direct supervision of the SME, you will perform each of the above-mentioned applications twice

 

7.    Infor Activity (Overflow Processing)

You will function as an overflow sales representative for an assigned expert applying all previously learned applications including the abovementioned lessons for the remainder of the day.
