Day 10 Activities

1.    Opening / Production Start Up Procedures

You will implement daily production floor start up procedures independently. This includes but is not limited to:

a)      Floor safety check / audit(s) (6S and Managers Weekly audit)

a)      Equipment checks

b)     Work order assignment

c)      Team Meeting / Huddle Board

2.    Review and e-Learn

As practical (in person or by phone/conference call) you will review with your direct supervisor the previous days lesson(s) and activities including lessons.

3.    Recruiting, Interviewing and Onboarding

You will complete e-Lesson Recruiting, Interviewing, and Onboarding 10.1 where you will learn the proper procedures to recruit and hire a Parksite associate. Please reference SOP HR 13.1 Recruiting Process.

4.    Coaching & Mentoring

You will complete the e-Lesson Great Coaches & Mentors 10.1 where you will learn how to develop and apply various coaching and mentoring techniques.

Upon completion of this module, draft and apply an appropriate coaching and or mentoring strategy to one or more of your direct reports. Then discuss your plans/strategies with supervisor prior to implementation.

6.    Production Floor Shift Change / End of Day Operations

You will independently implement shift change and or end of day operations. This included but is not limited to:

a)      Floor safety check / audit(s) (6S and Managers Weekly audit)

a)      Equipment checks / maintenance / Cleaning / Lock Out -Tag Out Procedures

b)     Work order communication – subsequent shift

c)      Team Meeting / Huddle Board
