Day 6 Activities

1.    Review and e-Learn

a)      You will review with your direct supervisor the previous days lesson(s) and activities.

b)     You will complete the e-Lesson Door Finishing 10.1 (How to video to be recorded)

2.    BLR Safety Training

You will complete the following 2 e-Modules:

a)      Foot Protection

b)     Fall Protection

3.    Communication Basics (Part 4)

You will complete e-Lesson Communication Basics 13.1 - Interpersonal Skills where you will learn how to create and deliver a message that is not misinterpreted.

4.    Production Floor – Assembly (Cell 8)

As per work order, a local SME will demonstrate how to:

• Assemble all frame parts into the opening of the frame where the door slab will be hung and packaged for staging
• How, where and when to reference the Therma Tru Shop Manual
• How to maintain the areas associated to this work cell

5.    Production Floor – Staging (Cell 9)

a)      As per work order, a local SME will demonstrate how to stage all assembled doors into racking according to their truck route as per location.

b)     You will simultaneously refer to SOP XXX Eric and Don

6.    Practical Exercise

For the remainder of the day (minimum ½ day,) you will work with an assigned SME applying all previous lessons learned including but not limited to:

• Assembly of all frame parts into the opening of the frame.
• Staging of all assembled doors into racking according to their truck route as per location.
