Day 4 Activities

1.    Review and e-Learn

a)      You will review with your direct supervisor the previous days lesson(s) and activities.

b)     You will complete e-Lessons Door Slab Machining 10.1 (How to video to be recorded)

2.    BLR Safety Training

You will complete the following two e-Modules:

a)      Eye Protection 10.1

b)     Emergency Preparedness 10.1

3.    Salesforce Part 3 Overview (Posting Comments & Documents)

a)      A local SME will explain and demonstrate how to post comments and documents

b)     You will simultaneously refer to SOP SF 3.1 – Posting Comments & Documents

c)      You will discuss and analyze with your direct supervisors all dashboard metrics as it applies to your area of responsibilities

d)     You will then complete Introduction to Salesforce 12.1

4.    Communication Basics - Part 3

You will complete e-Lesson Communication Basics 12.1 where you will learn how to develop PowerPoint presentations and the skills to deliver them.

5.    Production Floor – Frame Machining (Cell 7)

The Production Supervisor will explain and demonstrate as per work order how:

• Frames are machined for hinges and strikes
• Accessories are applied
• SOPs at the work cell for additional guidance/reference (Eric Wilson & Mike to match posted SOPs)
• How to maintain the areas associated to this work cell

6.    Practical Exercise

For the remainder of the day (minimum ½ day,) you will work with an assigned SME applying all previous lessons learned including but not limited to:

• Frame machining for hinges and strikes
• Accessory application
