Day 3 Activities

1.    Review and e-Learn

a)      You will review with your direct supervisor the previous days lesson(s) and activities

b)     You will take e-Lesson, Door Order Entry, Vetting and Staging 10.1 (How to video to be recorded)

2.    BLR Safety Training

You will complete the following two BLR safety modules:

a)      First Aid 10.1

b)     Working in Hot Conditions 10.1

c)      Lockout-Tagout 10.1

3.    Salesforce Part 2 – Overview (Chatter Filters)

a)      An assigned SME will explain and demonstrate how to filter your Parksite feed in Salesforce to follow specific people, groups, files, and topics

b)     You will simultaneously refer to SOP SF 2.1 Chatter Filters - People Groups, Files & Topics

c)      You will then complete the e-Lesson, Introduction to Salesforce 11.1

4.    Communication Basics - Part 2

You will complete e-Lesson Communication Basics 11.1 where you will learn how to develop your writing skills and email etiquette.

5.    Forklift Certification

1. A local “certified” forklift Trainer will demonstrate and teach you how to properly use a forklift
2. You will access and complete e-Lesson / Quiz, Forklift Operation and Safety 10.1
3. Upon successful completion of the above-mentioned e-Lesson, your trainer will have you perform a practice exercise where upon they implement the Operators Forklift Performance Test
4. Your supervisor will enter the evaluation results into the Parksite Training & Development platform (under the associate’s name.)

Company Policy: Operator recertification is required every 12 months.

6.    Production Floor – Door Slab Machining (Cell 6)

You will work with the Production Supervisor who will demonstrate as per work order how:

• Doors are machined for face and edge prep (Shop Manager - Eric Wilson to produce SOP)
• Accessories are applied
• To access the Therma Tru Shop Manual for specification/assembly guidance
• How to maintain the areas associated to this work cell

7.    Practical Exercise

For the remainder of the day (½ day minimum,) you will work with an assigned SME applying all previous lessons learned including but not limited to:

• Door machining for face and edge prep – refer to SOP DS-F 20.1 Lite Machine Boring and Edge Prep
• Accessory application
• Therma Tru Shop Manual usage
